Pittsburgh at Detroit

Detroit managed a split of a doubleheader with the Pirates on Wednesday, but the Tigers still have scored only nine runs their past five games and will need to acquire better hitters to continue their rebuilding. Detroit has lost all three of Jose Urena's starts and he still has a 5.52 ERA in 14 2/3 innings this season and in his one appearance at home he gave up six runs (five earned) in three innings. Pittsburgh was picked to finish last in the Central Division, but the Pirates have played better than expected with an 8-10 record and the Tigers are 6-15 their past 21 interleague home games, 2-5 as favorites. Also, the Tigers are 19-60 their past 79 home games versus right-handed starters. Take the Pirates on the run line.
