Pittsburgh at Colorado

The Colorado Rockies have been a lot better than expected this season, entering this game at 56-41. Unfortunately they picked the wrong year to be good, as the LA Dodgers are running away with the division, so their only way into the playoffs will be through the Wild Card. Tonight they will turn to Jeff Hoffman, who unfortunately has not yet learned to pitch a Coors Field where he owns a dismal 6.44 ERA on the season. He will go  against the Pirates Trevor Williams. Williams has not been bad or brilliant, but he has been consistent,allowing three earned runs or less in 9 of his last 10 starts on the season. The Pirates have had the Rockies number, winning 17 of the last 23 meetings between these clubs. Play on Pittsburgh.
