Philadelphia at Atlanta

Atlanta is closing in on the division title and beat the Phillies 8-3 on Thursday to reduce its magic number to four. The Braves scored four times in the eighth and Kevin Gausman put in another solid effort on the mound. Tonight it's Julio Teheran going for the Braves and they have won four of his last five starts and he has a 2.95 ERA in night games this season. In three September starts, Teheran has allowed only four earned runs in 17 innings with a .158 opponent batting average. Nick Pivetta has been inconsistent all season and he has a 7-13 record and the Phillies have lost six of his last seven starts. Pivetta is 1-6 the second half of the season and he's given up eight runs on 20 hits in four starts against Atlanta this year. Look for Atlanta to edge closer to the NL East title, so play the Braves.
