Philadelphia at Arizona

Two nights ago I had Philadelphia in this series, and it cashed, and last night Jesus Luzardo made it look easy in a 7-1 rout that put Arizona in a 0-2 hole. That's a rare rough patch for a Diamondbacks club that still carries a winning record, and it sets up exactly the kind of get-right spot I like as they try to salvage the finale. Andrew Painter takes the mound for Philadelphia with a 5.95 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP over just past 98 innings this season, and even with four wins in his last five turns, he's allowed multiple runs in three of those starts against a lineup that's produced all year. Arizona counters with a bullpen day, leaning on Taylor Clarke and his 2.60 ERA to open things against a Phillies offense that's been scorching but hasn't seen this look yet. The bigger bets have been stacking up on the Diamondbacks today, even as the ticket count runs close to even. Arizona is the right side on the moneyline this afternoon.
