The Oakland A's have had a good run at home and for the most part, they have been getting it done. But the road has been paved with land mines and one of those was Texas last night in a brutal 10-1 loss. The last 10 on the road for this Oakland team has seen two wins by a single run, backed by eight losses. The wins were barely survived, each by a single run, and the losses have been monumental as they have been outscored by 40 runs in the eight games! That is 5 per contest. The longer term looks just as dismal as the A's are now 23-52 in their last 75 on the road vs. a team with a winning record. Texas gets the call.
