Oakland snapped a three-game losing streak with a 13-6 victory over the Rangers as Matt Chapman and Ramon Laureano each hit two-run homers for the Athletics. James Kaprielian goes tonight and he has a sparkling 2.84 ERA and 4-1 record and Oakland has won five of his seven starts this season. Mike Foltynewicz has not won in his last four starts and he has allowed 18 earned runs in 18 1/3 innings, including a 7-5 loss to Minnesota on Friday when he gave up four runs on six hits in five innings. Texas has lost eight of its past nine games and is dead last in the AL West with a 26-47 record.
