Texas finally got a win last night, but they have not played well over the past three or so weeks, as they have struggled to a 7-14 record, remaining two games behind the A's in the West. Quite a different story for Oakland who has been on a 22-8 run over their last 30 games. It has been all about pitching for Oakland who has allowed 4 runs or less in 16 of their last 17 games. The Rangers' lack of offense has Yu Darvish without a win in his last five starts, despite pitching rather well. The A's have done a great job against him, owning a 3-1 career mark. The A's are a highly-productive 9-1 in their last 10 vs. elite pitching, owning that mark vs. a starter with a WHIP of less than 1.15. Go with the road dog here.
