Oakland at Seattle

Seattle grabbed their 100th loss of the season yesterday as they dropped their fourth straight. I like them to keep this game close at least. Sure, Dallas Braden has looked good this year. But the fact is that he owns a losing record and on the road, the A's are just 4-8 with him starting. When facing a team this season with low-power (those averaging less than one home run per game), the A's are just 2-9 with Braden on the mound. We know Seattle can't score, but neither can Oakland, so asking the A's to win this game on the road by 2+ runs is asking a lot. The A's are just 13-25 to the runline this season after back-to-back wins. I'm taking the Mariners +1.5 here.
