The Seattle Mariners have been disappointed with their 18-25 record to start the season as many thought this team could be a playoff contender. Their recent play has left them with a 3-7 mark in their last 10 games where the pitching has been absent. They have allowed a woeful 6.1 runs per contest over the period. They managed a 7-6 win last night, but if the pitching continues to struggle there won't be many games they win allowing six runs. The A's have allowed four runs or fewer in 10 of their last 14 and overall they have a favorable line as a +150 dog as of this writing. I think that is too generous from a home team that is allowing too many runs. Make the play on Oakland.
