Oakland needs to bounce back from Monday's loss as the Athletics play for playoff position while securing a Wild Card spot. Frankie Montas gets the call tonight and he owns a 9-2 record and 2.70 ERA. Oakland had won seven of his last eight starts, including the last four before being suspended for PED use. Montas has allowed only seven earned runs over his last four outings in 26 innings pitched and he has pitched better on the road with a 2.44 ERA compared to at home (3.00). He'll be making his first appearance since June and prior to that he faced the Angels three times this season and gave up seven runs in 16 innings. The Angels are 17-37 over their last 54 games in a totally disappointing season and they are 7-16 in Andrew Heaney's last 23 starts with at least five days rest. Take the Athletics.
