Oakland at Los Angeles

Oakland enjoyed its finest offensive output of the season as it banged out 14 hits and beat the Angels 11-10 while scoring three times in the top of the 10th, and then hanging on as Anaheim scored two in the bottom of the inning. Los Angeles had its seventh blown save, which is tops in the majors. Mason Miller will make his second start for the Athletics and he allowed two runs on four hits in 4 1/3 innings against the Cubs on Wednesday. Griffin Canning goes for the Angels and he has given up four runs on nine hits in 10 1/3 innings. Oakland has won five of the past seven meetings and the Angels are only 5-5 at home this year.
