Las Vegas at Houston

The Oakland A's have endured a poor season, but they have played with pride and are now ahead of the Kansas City Royals by a game for the worst record in baseball. The pesky A's are getting production from young players that are looking ahead to next season, and they are 6-4 in their last 10 games as well as 11-9 in their last 20. This line resembles what you would have expected earlier in the season, but this is clearly an improved version. Houston was shut out at home last night, and the A's can be a disruptive force down the stretch in a three-team log-jam that is the AL West. I like Oakland.
