Oakland at Houston

Houston looks to sweep the Athletics after winning 4-3 on Wednesday when Jose Altuve hit a three-run homer in the third and Kyle Tucker broke a 3-3 tie in the seventh with a solo shot. The Astros have won six straight overall with mostly great pitching as they have allowed more than three runs just once in that span. Meanwhile, Oakland has lost five of its last six games and fallen 5 1/2 games behind Houston in the AL West after leading the division for a while earlier in the season. Lance McCullers Jr. is 6-1 with a 2.97 ERA and Houston has won his past four starts, including 6-3 over Cleveland on Friday when he allowed two runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings. Opposing hitters are batting just .165 versus McCullers in his seven home games. The Athletics have lost Frankie Montas' last three starts. Take the Astros.
