Oakland at Houston

The Oakland A's have done everything right the last three years, but they have hit a big challenge as we head into the stretch drive. The A's are suddenly dealing with a 4-9 mark in their last 13 games. They have lost their offense, having scored three or less times in eight of their last 12. Jeff Samardzija was supposed to lengthen and strengthen the rotation, but his last five starts have not been good where he is 1-2 with a 5.46 ERA. Scott Feldman, meanwhile, has foind the magic, winning three of his last four starts. Houston has been a thorn in the side of the A's in recent play, as the Stros have won five of the last eight meetings.
