The Oakland Athletics lost 102 games in 2022, and followed up by losing 112 games a year ago. The A's are looking somewhat better at 7-11 to start the season, and there is a clear answwer why. The A's bullpen has been among the best in baseball, especially on the road here they have a collective ERA of a miniscule 1.422. This has allowed Oakland to be a lot more competitive than wwhat we have seen the previous two years. Cleveland will go with Triston McKenzie and that hasn't worked out well for the Guardians who are just 1-5 in his last six starts going back to the end of last season.
