Oakland at Baltimore

Baltimore continues its surprising run to the playoffs and the Orioles have won five of seven after shutting out Cleveland two games in a row, including 3-0 on Thursday night when Cedric Mullins, Anthony Santander and Ryan Mountcastle all hit home runs off Shane Bieber. Baltimore's pitching staff has allowed only 23 runs its last 10 games and the Orioles have won Dean Kremer's last three starts, including 3-1 over the Astros on Saturday when he allowed one run on four hits in 7 2/3 innings. Kremer had a 2.25 ERA in August allowing eight runs in 32 innings. Oakland lost again last night 7-5 to Washington and the Athletics have the worst record in the American League and they are 27-40 on the road. Oakland has lost 35 of 52 versus teams with winning reocrds and 37 of 51 overall  in the first game of a series. The Orioles have won 20 of 27 home games and 13 of 16 overall against the AL West.
