Oakland at Baltimore

Baltimore won 7-3 on Monday night to improve to 37-25 at home while the Athletics fell to 20-40 on the road and lost their fourth in five games overall.  Paul Blackburn has been shelled his last two outings allowing eight runs on 18 hits in just 9 2/3 innings. In 16 innings in August, Blackburn has given up eight runs on 23 hits in 16 1/3 innings, including four runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings against the Orioles. Ubaldo Jimenez has not allowed more than three runs in four of his last five starts. Baltimore has won 30 of Jimenez's last 39 home starts dating to last season and 16 of their last 21 overall when he pitches on five days rest. Baltimore has won seven of the last eight meetings at Camden Yards and it's still fighting for a playoff spot. Play the Orioles.
