Toronto got a much needed win on Friday with a 9-0 win over the Yankees to maintain a one-game lead in the Wild Card standings. Marcus Stroman has pitched better than his 9-9 record indicates as he has been victimized by poor run support. Storman has allowed only seven runs with 15 strikeouts his last three starts in 17 innings pitched. The right-hander has given up four runs in 13 innings against New York this season. The Yankees have lost their last six games against teams with winning records and seven of their last nine games overall. CC Sabathia is 8-12 with a 4.19 ERA and gave up four runs and eight hits in five innings at Boston on Sunday. Sabathia is 0-3 against the Blue Jays this season allowing 11 runs and 16 hits in 13 innings and he hasn't won a decision since Aug. 23. Play the Blue Jays.
