New York at Tampa Bay

The Yankees always have trouble getting out of the gate as their veterans don't seem to get up to speed until the middle of May. That can be said for CC Sabathia as well, and in his debut in pinstripes a year ago, he was pretty brutal early on. Sabathia allowed 21 runs in his first 39 innings of work, over six starts. The tally against the Yanks in the first six starts was 40 runs. The Rays are 113-50 in their last 163 home games, and always play tough here. They are also 37-14 playing to a total of 9-10.5. Getting the Rays at home at slightly worse than even odds vs. a team and pitcher that struggles early is full of value, so I'll back the Rays here on the runline.
