New York at Seattle

Runs have been hard to come by in the first two games of this series. Seattle won the opener, 2-1, and the Yankees evened things up, winning 5-0 last night. Both games easily went UNDER. The lack of runs is understandable given how strong the pitching staffs are and the fact that Seattle's T-Mobile Park is one of the friendliest pitcher parks in the majors. Another UNDER should come in this getaway day game matchup, pitting promising Cam Schlittler against George Kirby. Schlittler was 4-3 with a 2.96 ERA as a rookie last season. He was sharp in his first start this season, holding the Giants to one hit in 5 1/3 innings with eight strikeouts. Seattle ranked 27th in home batting average last season. Kirby is one of the best control pitchers in baseball when healthy, which he is now. Kirby's WHIPs for the past three seasons are 1.19, 1.07, and 1.04. Kirby beat the Guardians, 5-1, in his first start this season. He held Cleveland to one run on two hits with six strikeouts in six innings. Take the UNDER.
