New York has the best record in baseball, but the Yankees have had a habit of not hitting at times and they were shut out 2-0 by Cleveland on Sunday. Tonight the Yankees are up against Jose Quintana, who has allowed just three runs his last 12 innings and he has a 3.15 ERA in nine starts at home this season. Pittsburgh has won three of its last five overall and also four of five versus teams with .600 or above winning percentages. Jameson Taillon has gotten good run support, but he has given up nine runs on 17 hits his last 10 2/3 innings and New York's bullpen is suffering from injuries, including Ron Marinaccio, who was placed on the injured list two days ago.
