They have had to travel from Cleveland to New York, and now Houston where they will come in unrested. The Yankees bullpen has been overworked, and they do not have their rotation set up so the starter will be Jameson Taillon. The Astros have their ace primed for Game 1 in Justin Verlander. Verlander is 8-2 in his last 10 starts vs the Yankees and has won five of his last six playoff starts against them.
