New York at Cleveland

New York was stymied by Shane Bieber on Monday, but tonight it's Gerrit Cole against Hunter Gaddis, who had an 18.41 ERA in two appearances at home last year while allowing 15 runs on 15 hits in 7 1/3 innings and this will be his first game at home this year although he did pitch six scoreless innings at Oakland on Wednesday. Cole has allowed just one run in 12 1/3 innings while winning his first two starts and he gave up two runs in 12 2/3 innings against Cleveland in 2022. The Yankees are 57-21 against AL Central opponents and they have won eight of the past 11 meetings and nine of 13 at Cleveland.
