New York has won three in a row while taking a 2 1/2 game lead over Boston for the top wild-card spot. The Yankees won 5-3 on Saturday when Jazz Chisholm Jr. had a solo homer and two RBI singles and the bullpen allowed just one run and one hit in 3 2/3 innings. The Yankees have won 14 of 19 overall and 13 of 15 road games. The Red Sox have lost six of nine and eight of 11 at home. Will Warren has allowed four runs on seven hits his past two starts in 11 innings pitched. He is 7-2 with a 3.42 ERA in night games. We're getting good value with the Bronx Bombers due to Garrett Crochet starting for Boston. However, Crochet did show some vulnerability when Cleveland scored seven runs on nine hits in six innings in an 11-7 victory over the Red Sox on Sept. 2. New York has scored 18 runs in three games.
