Bryce Harper showed his frustrations against Zack Greinke in the Nats last game. And it is pretty clear, without a lot of help around him, teams are electing to work outside the strike zone when he comes to the plate. The Mets are one of the worst offenses in baseball, but have perhaps the best pitching. The best of that pitching is Matt Harvey, tonight's starter, and he has held Harper hitless in 12 at bats, striking the slugger out six times. Gio Gonzalez is finally pitching up to his capacity, allowing just two runs in his last 20 innings of work. Curtis Granderson, Lucas Duda, and Wilmer Flores have done nothing against him, combining to go 6-51. Struggling offenses and top tier pitching will make runs in short supply here.
