The New York Mets got a confidence-building win here last night, as they slipped past the Giants 8-7 in a 10-inning thriller for their second straight win. Tonight they face a reeling pitcher in Tim Lincecum who is pitching for a winning team, but is just 4-11 with a king-sized 5.88 ERA. Lincecum came into this season allowing 4 or more runs in just eight of his last 45 starts, but this season he has done so in 13 of 21 starts. The Giants are also 6-15 in his 21 starts this season, and just 7-20 in his last 27 starts overall. The Mets have cashed-in of late in anticipated low-scoring games at 4-1 in their last five to a total of 6.5 or less. Play this one on the NY Mets.
