New York at San Francisco

The San Francisco Giants survived a six-game losing streak and have fallen seven games behind the LA Dodgers in the NL West. They are still very much a wild-card candidate. They came out of the losing streak by winning two in a row, but fell to the Mets last night. The Mets easily took the opener with a blowout 11-1 win here last night. The Mets have a good shot tonight behind David Peterson. Peterson has been a hot pitcher; in his previous three starts, he has allowed a total of 2 earned runs over 19.2 innings of work. The Giants counter with Robbie Ray, but he seemed to lose all his momentum as he came out of the All-Star break, allowing five runs in just four innings in Toronto. I like the NY Mets in this one.
