Now they have to go to Petco Park, a pitchers park, and face one of the best young pitchers in the game in Chris Paddack. The right-hander has a 1.91 ERA in six starts and San Diego has won five of them. Opposing hitters are batting a minuscule .126 against him, and he has 35 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched. New York has lost Jacob deGrom's last four starts, although he hasn't gotten a lot of run support. The Mets have lost five of their last six road games versus right-handed starters while the Padres have won seven of nine against righty starters. There is good value on the home underdog.
