New York at San Diego

The NY Mets are a much better team than they have been in the past and they enter this game vs San Diego at 27-23. Pitching has never been the issue for this team, and especially when Jacob deGrom takes the mound. The Mets have won 5 of his last 6 starts and those 6 games have seen the opponent score all of 9 runs or 1.5 per contest. I think the Mets have a huge edge every time deGrom steps on the mound. Joe Musgrove starts for the Padres and his overall numbers look good, but he opened the season with consecutive starts that saw the opponent score 0 runs, and since that has been 4+ per game. I like the NY Mets in this one.
