The Yankees appear to be back on track after defeating Max Scherzer and the Mets 4-2 Monday night for their second win in a row following a terrible stretch since the All-Star Game. Aaron Judge hit his 47th homer and Andrew Benintendi drove in two as Scherzer gave up all four runs. Now the Yanks face Taijuan Walker, who has been sidelined with a bulging disc in his back. Walker pitched only two innings his last outing against Atlanta. Two starts before that one, Walker was clobbered for eight runs on seven hits in one inning against the Braves. The Mets have lost seven of nine interleague games against teams with winning records and the Yankees now have won 41 of 58 home games and 58 of 85 overall in the second game of a series. Also, the Bronx Bombers are 10-2 their past 12 interleague home contests. Take the Yankees.
