It appeared that Bartolo Colon's career was coming to an end several years ago, but the ageless one continues to deny father time. Colon is now 41-years-old, but has won 48 games for three different teams the last four years, and on the season has a winning record on a losing Mets team. Alfredo Simon looked to be on his way to a 20 win season, and made the All-Star team, but he has fallen apart - as have the Reds. Simon since the All-Star break has pitched the Reds to a woeful 1-8 mark. Colon has been on the mark when pitching on the road to a total of 7 to 8.5 as the Mets are 7-1 in his last eight starts in this role, and the Mets are also 9-4 in his last 13 starts as a dog.
