Wheeler is a former first-round draft pick by San Francisco, and is ranked as the No. 11 top prospect in baseball. Paul Maholm made an early splash, not allowing a run in his first three starts, but things have not been so good since. The Braves have just a 5-6 record in his last 11 starts.
