Atlanta will attempt to finally climb into first place in this series against the Mets, and Max Fried is on the mound tonight. He is 9-2 this year, and the Braves have won his last nine starts, including 3-0 over St. Louis on Wednesday when he allowed no runs on five hits in six innings. Fried faced New York once this season and gave up two runs on four hits in six innings, and Mets batters have just a .285 on-base percentage against him in 127 at-bats. New York just lost two of three to Miami while the Braves have won three straight and eight of their past 10. They are also 30-18 at home this year. The Mets are 2-10 versus a starter with a WHIP of 1.15 or lower, and Atlanta is 17-8 in its last 25 games against a team that allowed two or fewer runs in its previous game. Take the Braves.
