New York at Atlanta

New York had a nice long homestand but now they begin a long road trip. And the trip got off to a terrible start losing 13-1 yesterday at Atlanta. The Mets go with Taijuan Walker who has a losing record and a 5.54 ERA in six career starts against the Braves. One of those was 10 days ago surrendering eight runs in one inning of a 9-6 defeat! New York is 2-10 against teams that average 3.5+ extra-base hits per contest. Atlanta has won seven in a row despite just returning from an 11-game road trek. Starter Charlie Morton has been very strong at home (3.41 ERA) with 75 Ks in 60+ innings while holding batters to a .194 average.
