The Twins may set epic lows for an American League team in the DH era. The Twins’ anemic attack has already produced, or not produced more than 3 runs in a game 26 times on the season. That may sound bad, but it has become an epidemic, as their last 17 games show 14 at 3 or less. They may be challenged however by the Mariners offense, or lack thereof, as Seattle has rung-up 24 games at 3 or less. The Twins carry a 15-5-2 UNDER mark when Baker opens a series, and the Mariners are 6-2 to the UNDER in their last eight at home vs. a right hander. Not surprising is the fact these teams have made it over the total just a single time in their last nine meetings. The UNDER leads the way in this one.
