Now the Padres are looking for Joe Musgrove to have a similar performance tonight and he has an 8-3 record and 2.63 ERA and 0.99 WHIP this season. The right-hander has a 2.20 ERA and .193 opponent batting average in seven home starts and the Padres have won eight of 10 interleague home games against teams with winning records and 13 of 18 interleague contests overall against winning teams. Sonny Gray starts for Minnesota and he did beat lowly Detroit on Sunday, but gave up 11 runs in 8 1/3 innings his previous two starts against Texas and the Chicago White Sox. The Twins are 18-42 their past 60 interleague road games versus teams with winning records. Take the Padres.
