Superstar outfielder Juan Soto returned from a strained right calf after missing 15 games. Soto is off to a hot start with a .355 batting average and .412 OBP. The Twins are also going through a tough stretch with five losses in their last six games. Minnesota is going with its ace, Joe Ryan. However, the Twins are 2-3 in Ryan's starts this season. Christian Scott is being called up from Triple-A Syracuse to make his first major league start since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2024. The promising Scott had a 17-to-2 strikeout-to-walk ratio in three starts for Triple-A Syracuse this year, going 13.2 innings. Scott has allowed two runs on four hits with 12 strikeouts in his last 10.1 innings. The Twins rank 22nd in batting average. Take the Mets.
