Minnesota at Boston

The Boston Red Sox thought they had revamped their lineup and rotation to get back into the playoffs this season. Things have not worked out that well. Despite playing in hitter-friendly Fenway Park, the offense has come to a screeching halt. The Red Sox have mustered a grand total of four runs in their last three games. Minnesota was shutout here 1-0 last night. After a shaky start, Phil Hughes has gone at least six innings in his last four starts, winning them all.  Eduardo Rodriguez made a split start for Boston last time out for his major league debut. He was so impressive, he is getting a second look as he allowed 0 runs and just three hits over 7.2 innings of work. The Twins have posted an 18-8 mark to the UNDER in their last 26 on the road vs. a losing team, while Boston is 22-8-1 in their last 31 games to the UNDER.
