Milwaukee at Seattle

The Seattle Mariners made a nice run where they went on to win eight straight games. We tend to see bad teams over the course of a 162 game season have a few good stretches, but they are usually followed by a lackluster stretch. That is exactly where we find the Mariners today. Since their 8-0 run, Seattle has been 5-10 over their last 15 games, and ironically were out scored by the Brewers here last night 10-5. The problem for the Mariners over these last 15 games is that the pitching staff has allowed just shy of 6 runs per game - something that a marginal offense simply can't overcome. Milwaukee is on a good stretch of games that has seen them play over .500 at 7-5 in their last 12. Milwaukee has won five of the last seven and for the moment at least, are the better team. Go with the road team in this one.
