Milwaukee has won five of six and three in a row after defeating the Mariners 6-5 in 11 innings on Tuesday as Willy Adames drove in three runs, including the go-ahead run in the 11th. The Brewers are 13-5 and in first place in the NL Central and have Eric Lauer going today and he has pitched well in two of his three starts, including an 11-2 win over San Diego on Friday when he allowed one run on five hits in six innings. Milwaukee's bullpen is tops in the majors with a 2.05 ERA with five saves. Marco Gonzales will make his third start this season for the Mariners and he has given up five runs on 12 hits in 10 2/3 innings. The Brewers have won 21 of 28 interleague games and Seattle is 9-20 versus lefty starters dating to 2022. Milwaukee is 12-6 on the run line overall, including 8-4 on the road.
