Milwaukee at Pittsburgh

Milwaukee has won seven of nine after defeating the Pirates 12-8 on Tuesday as Willy Adames homered twice and drove in seven runs for the Brewers, who are in first place in the NL Central. Pittsburgh has given up 36 runs its last three games and its bullpen has the third-worst ERA in the majors. Aaron Ashby will make his second start of the season for Milwaukee and he gave up no earned runs on two hits in four innings in his first one against St. Louis on April 17. Ashby faced the Pirates once in 2021 and did not allow a run in four innings. Bryse Wilson goes for the Pirates and he has allowed eight runs on 12 hits in only 11 1/3 innings and the due factor is against him because Pittsburgh managed to win all three starts.
