Milwaukee has won five of the last eight -- all the wins as a dog. Left fielder Ryan Braun smacked two homers as part of a three-hit outing in Friday's series opener to lead Milwaukee to an 8-4 victory. Brewers' starter Taylor Jungmann is a dog, but went 3-0 with a 2.42 ERA in four starts against the Pirates last season and shut down catcher Francisco Cervelli (0-for-8) and left fielder Starling Marte (1-for-9). Pittsburgh has a losing record overall, dropping six of the last seven. Pittsburgh has allowed 30 runs during its four-game skid. The last three games they were favored and lost, getting outscored 22-11. Pirates' lefty Jonathon Niese (5.73 ERA) has allowed nine runs in 11 innings (seven earned) and has a 4.50 ERA in eight career starts against the Brewers. The Brewers are playing well and 8-3 in the last 11 meetings, so grab the hot dog and play Milwaukee.
