It would be a nice plus if Byron Buxton were able to play after being out the past couple of days with hip soreness, but there is still value in taking the home underdog Twins even if Minnesota's leading home run hitter can't go. The matchup pits a pair of young starters, Logan Henderson for Milwaukee and Wisconsin native Connor Prielipp for the Twins. Henderson has a 4.15 ERA in three appearances, including two starts, this season. He has not thrown more than 76 pitches in a game. Prielipp has the lower ERA at 3.32. This is his fifth career start. He is ranked as Minnesota’s No. 5 prospect by MLB Pipeline. Prielipp gave up one earned run on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts in five innings against the Guardians during his last start eight days ago. The Brewers have been without their star hitter, Christian Yelich, for the past two games due to back tightness. Take the Twins.
