Milwaukee at Miami

The season has grown long for both of these teams as Milwaukee and Miami have been out of playoff contention for quite some time. It is certainly much harder for a team out of contention to hit the road in a meaningless game, without even the inspiration of spoiling another team's playoff run. Zach Davies is certainly not a candidate of hope here as his first big league start came up well short and left him with an 8.31 ERA. The Marlins have gotten much better returns from Justin Nicolino. Nicolino has allowed 2 or fewer runs in four straight starts, owns a 3-2 record with a 3.07 ERA on the season. The Brewers are an ugly 3-14 in their last 17 road games to a total of 7-8.5, as well as 4-12 in their last 16 on the road in all games. Make the play on Miami.
