Milwaukee at Chicago

Milwaukee is having a resurgence after a slump which dropped the Brewers to second place in the NL Central, and they now are just three games back of the first-place Cubs. The Brewers will go for a sweep after outscoring the Cubs 17-2 in the first two games of this series, and they have Zach Davies on the mound today. Davies is 16-8 and has not allowed more than two runs in last five starts. The right-hander has done his best work on the road where he is 8-2 with a 2.10 ERA, and he had a 2.06 ERA in August. In one appearance at Wrigley Field this season, Davies gave up two runs in six innings.  Milwaukee has won 10 of Davies' last 14 road starts, and the Brewers have won eight of their last nine versus teams with winning records. Chicago has lost five of its last seven and four of Kyle Hendricks' last five starts against winning teams. Take the Brewers.
