Miami at Washington

The Washington Nationals had a five-game losing streak going into last night while the Miami Marlins were riding a six-game winning streak. The Nationals broke through with a shootout 12-10 win. Today the Marlins will go with Sandy Alcantara who is 0-2 with a 10.13 ERA against the Nats. Alcantara is off perhaps his best start ever last time out but that was at home. His career numbers on the road are woefully bad where he is 0-3 in 11 appearances, seven of which were starts. The Marlins are not going to win a lot of games this season, and maybe letting down today after seeing their streak end and have a depleted bullpen with a road starter that has been very poor.
