Miami at Texas

Miami has won seven of its last eight games after sweeping Colorado in a three-game series. The Marlins won 9-7 on Thursday when rookie Liam Hicks hit a go-ahead two-run homer and a two-run single. Meanwhile, Texas has lost four in a row after getting swept at Houston, and after flirting with a possible wild-card spot, the Rangers have all but fallen out of the race. They had lost three of Tyler Mahle's last four starts before he went on the injury list with shoulder fatigue in June. Janson Junk has allowed no more than three runs in four of five outings for the Marlins, who won his last start when he allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings in a 6-4 win over Detroit. Miami has averaged 6.2 runs in its past 10 games, and Texas has only scored 10 runs in four games. Take the Marlins.
