Cole Hamels gets a chance to bounce back from an uncharacteristic bad outing in which he allowed seven runs in 5 1/3 innings in a loss at Baltimore on Thursday. Hamels previously had recorded three quality starts in a row with the Rangers winning all three. Texas has won five of his last seven starts and Hamels is 4-1 with a 3.78 ERA overall and 3-0 and 2.22 at home. Texas has won eight of its last 10 interleague home games and 23 of its last 32 interleague games overall, including Hamels' last five interleague starts. Also, the Rangers have won 21 of Hamels' last 26 home starts. Miami has lost 35 of its last 52 interleague road games and the Marlins have lost Dan Straily's last two outings as he has allowed seven runs (six earned) on 17 hits in 10 innings.
