Miami at Colorado

Colorado scored four runs in the fifth inning and went on to a 5-4 win over the Marlins on Tuesday night. Miami will look to Sandy Alcantara to snap its three-game skid tonight. Alcantara has not had his usual effectiveness this season, but the current Colorado hitters are batting just .200 against him with three home runs in 45 at-bats. Karl Kauffmann will make his second start for the Rockies and the first one didn't go so well as he was touched for five runs (four earned) on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings against Texas on Friday. The Marlins have won six of eight after losing the first two games of a series, and Colorado is 8-22 its past 30 games against teams with losing records. The Rockies are just .500 at home this year and Miami will look to take advantage. Play the Marlins.
