This is a great pitching matchup, and arguably between the two hottest pitchers in baseball. The D-Backs send Dan Haren to the mound with his league-leading ERA. Haren is a proven commodity that when healthy, is one of the elite pitchers in the game. The evidence is that he is healthy and so is his ERA, as he has turned in eight-straight performances allowing two runs or less, and a 1.93 ERA in the eight games. Florida will go with Ricky Nolasco, who owned a 9.07 ERA through his May 23 start, but it has been lights-out since. Nolasco has pitched six-straight games allowing two runs or less, and over this six-game stretch he has a 1.54 ERA. In his recent three starts, that ERA has dropped to an amazing 0.78. It’s hard to find a game featuring the two hottest pitchers in baseball without a total of seven or less, so the value here is on the UNDER, so that's the call.
